Trigger was taken from a shelter in Northern CA, when his days were numbered. He was nursed back to health by a wonderful foster care provider, then adopted into a fabulous home! Trigger now spends his time getting snuggles and walks with his adoring family.
Libby is now in her new home and loving it! Here's what we originally wrote about her:
Blonde hair, doe-like eyes...c'mon, admit it, you know you already love Libby! She is a sweet Pekingese mix (maybe Papillon, maybe something else - but nothing short of adorable). Libby approaches everything in life with curiosity and vigor. She loves going for walks, enjoys playing with her stuffed toys either alone or with a friend, and is a snuggle bug. Libby is around a year and a half old, and weighs about 10 pounds. Her new guardians should be aware that her gorgeous hair is not completely maintenance free - she will need to be brushed and groomed to maintain her beautiful look.
Buttercup has been adopted. Here's what we wrote about her:
While in a potentially adoptive home it became apparent that the resident dog was not too keen on having Buttercup added to the family. Buttercup's potentially adoptive family is heartsick over their decision to see her off to a new loving family because she is such an amazing dog. They report she is great with other dogs, loves all people, and is a joy to have in the house. We expect a lot of families will want to adopt her now that she's available again. She is very thin due to the stress of shelter life, but she is lovin' all the great food and giving it her best shot to gain weight. Buttercup will remain tiny (even after gaining weight) at a mere 4.5 pounds. She is under 4 years old.
Nugget is now in his permanent home!
What we said about him:
Tiny Nugget is only 4 pounds and a real sweet guy. He loves everyone he meets! It's amazing he ended up at the shelter, but these days we are seeing more and more sweet dogs become homeless, and sadly we cannot help them all. Luckily for Nugget, he had some great people at the shelter looking out for him, and they called A Leg Up Rescue. Nugget is about 3 years old and gets along well with other small dogs. Because of his petite size, no homes with much larger dogs please.
