Dolly Update

We can't understand why Delicious Dolly is still in foster care? She is adorable in person, full of spirit, and a sweet little companion. She is anxious to meet her new guardian - might it be you? If we can answer any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.

Dolly is a sweet little girl with lots of personality. She loves her toys – really loves them. Truth be told, she loves to get the squeaker out of them! She leaps around with a new toy, then hops (literally hops) into her bed with it and tries to de-squeak it! While Dolly does everything with gusto, if you pick her up she's immediately half asleep and content in your arms or lap. And at bed time Dolly will get into her bed and snuggle under the covers – it’s so cute to see. Dolly only weighs about 12 pounds and loves to go for walks. She has a sense of adventure, and is a very funny girl who will try her best to put a smile on your face. She does have a touch of separation anxiety (no doubt from past experiences) but this is getting better. From her foster care provider’s experience, she is NOT destructive when left alone, but she does let out a few barks to let you know she’s not thrilled about being left behind. Now that she’s getting a taste of the good life, why would she want anything but to be with her foster mom?! We think her past was a rough one and now she just wants to spend her future making up for lost time. She loves being a house dog, loves the companionship that comes from a loving family, and will make someone a wonderful little companion.
