Tango
Sweet little Tango lives up to her name. She walks with tiny steps like a dancer and we are trying to convince her to audition for Dancing With the Stars. However, she is committed to finding a forever home and is focusing all of her energy on that! She is a four pound chihuahua or mini fox terrier likely younger than 4 years old. She truly loves all of the people she meets and can't believe she found herself cold, alone and behind bars at the shelter labeled "out of time." She was scheduled to be euthanized until the shelter called us and asked us to please rescue this adorable little girl because they know she would be a great companion dog for a lucky person. And lucky little Tango's adopter will be.
Tango was evaluated by a neurologist to confirm what we already suspected; her unusual gait is due to a stable neurological condition that isn't believed will cause any future problems. She was obviously well cared for before coming to the shelter and we think her owner may have passed away leaving beautiful little Tango homeless. She has fit right in with her fosters' small dogs and has easily become one of the pack. She loves to snuggle and play with toys. Tango's unique style makes her perfectly suited for someone that lives in a smaller house, condo or apartment. She is good at using a wee wee pad and likely will not require much outside exercise. Tango's adopter will have full access to her medical records and a consult with our veterinarian who can tell you all about her health.
