It's finally her turn. This sweet little girl has found her forever home.
Sweet little Holly has been waiting oh-so-long for a permanent home. She is wondering when it will be her turn? Holly was rescued from the shelter when one of our volunteers - on a mission to rescue other dogs - saw her at the shelter. Our volunteer was unaware of Holly's shelter stay until that fate filled day. Lucky for Holly, ALUR's astute volunteer saw her and took her along for the ride that saved her life! Holly is about 8-10 years old but don't let that discourage you! She is in GREAT health (believe us, we've spared no expense to make sure of that) and is a spry little nugget. Although she only weighs about 5 pounds, she has no trouble trying to mix it up with her younger and much bigger foster siblings. The resident dogs at her foster home are twice her size, but she never misses an opportunity to bark at them when they start wrestling around the room and causing too big of a ruckus! It's very cute to watch her try to gain control of the room. Nothing would please Holly more than to be in a home with dogs who are less rambunctious! She would love to sit on your lap (at home or at work) and be a part of your life. She gets along fine with other small dogs, but doesn't need another dog; she's pretty easy going either way. Please consider adopting OR fostering Holly. She would love the chance to be pampered! (photo courtesy of Doug at email@example.com)
